East of England Public Health Conference 2018 - Public Health in a Post-Brexit World

This conference, hosted by Public Health England, the Faculty of Public Health and the Association of Directors of Public Health will examine the evolving challenges that affect public health action and explore how to better equip public health professionals to overcome such barriers now and in the future. The conference will also explore the potential impact of Brexit, devolution and other national policies on local public health action and influence.
The conference will provide a forum for the public health community in the East of England to network, share knowledge and best practice and celebrate the innovative and exciting public health work currently underway in the region. It will also provide a platform for public health professionals working in the region to engage with regional and national public health leaders and showcase their work through poster displays and oral presentations at the conference. The conference is free to attend and aimed at public health practitioners, managers, analysts, researchers, academics, public health portfolio holders and others working in local authorities, the NHS and the voluntary and community sector. The conference will also be of interest to those interested in population health.
