The Faculty of Public Health and GLA are pleased to invite you to a conversation with Sarah Price about the Manchester Population Health Plan. Sarah led the development of the Greater Manchester Population Health Plan. As Executive Lead for Population Health and Commissioning she is also responsible for implementation. She has kindly agreed to speak to members about the development and implementation of this ambitious plan and to engage in discussion about how her learning from Greater Manchester applies to transition work in London.
Some of you will know that Sarah has a long history of working in London. She was Chief Officer at Haringey CCG for four years. Before this she was the first non-medical director of public health in London in 2003 when she took up the role of Director of Public Health for Islington Primary Care Trust and the London Borough of Islington. In 2010 she also took on the role of Director of Public Health for North Central London, the senior lead on public health across North Central London and was responsible for the delivery of the transition programme for the changes outlined in the 2012 Health and Social Care Act.
