Gendered impact and experiences of COVID-19

Staffordshire University’s Centre for Health and Development (CHAD) and the Faculty of Public Health have collaborated on an annual health and inequalities conference since 2018. For this academic year we are hosting a series of short webinars on various aspects of COVID-19, related health impacts and inequalities.

You are invited to join the seventh in this series, where attendees will hear about some impacts of COVID-19 and related lockdowns that have been specific to (or have disproportionately affected) women, in terms of work, finances and experiences during/after pregnancy. This one-hour session will include:

• The impact of COVID-19 restrictions on women's pregnancy and postpartum experiences in England, Dr Victoria Riley, Staffordshire University

Subsequent webinars will consider experiences and learning from COVID-19 in the context of the food system and diet, education and children and young people.
