FPH publishes the Journal of Public Health, a peer-reviewed and widely respected academic journal accessed by over 60,000 people every month. The Journal is aimed primarily at public health practitioners, researchers, policy-makers, and academics. All members of FPH receive digital access to the Journal as part of their membership benefits, helping our global FPH community keep on top of the latest research in public health in the UK and around the world.

Journal of Public Health Special Issue to mark the 50th Anniversary of the UK Faculty of Public Health: A call for papers

This year the Faculty of Public Health celebrates our 50th year, having been founded in 1972.

The Faculty's Journal of Public Health is planning a special issue to reflect on the work of the FPH over the past 50 years, taking into account the past, present and future of public health in the UK and beyond.

We invite public health scholars, practitioners, leaders and policy makers to contribute articles, commentaries and perspective pieces on topics of interest to the broad readership of the Journal.

Mental Health in India - Bridging the Gap

Published on World Mental Health Day 2021, FPH’s Journal of Public Health has issued a special supplement on ‘Mental Health in India – Bridging the Gap’ which explores policy and clinical challenges and opportunities relating to mental health care in India.

Introduced by FPH President Professor Maggie Rae, co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Public Health Professor Premila Webster conducted a series of video interviews with some of the authors featured in the supplement.
